Turkey Meatballs

Turkey meatballs

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • For the meatballs
      • 2 lbs ground turkey
      • 1 egg
      • 1 tablespoon almond flour
      • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
      • 1 cup chopped spinach
      • 1/2 roasted bell pepper, diced
      • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
      • 1 tsp garlic powder
      • 1 tsp. Italian herbs
      • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
      • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
      • a pinch of dried chilli pepper
  • Honey mustard sauce :
    • 2 tablespoons homemade mayonnaise
    • 1 tablespoon dijon
    • 1 tablespoon honey

 

Recipe:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400° Fahrenheit and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Add all the ingredients to a large mixing bowl, and use your hands to combine the ingredients.
  3. Form meatballs the size of large golf balls and place on lined baking sheet.
  4. Transfer them to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, until fully cooked.
  5. While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the sauce. Place all sauce ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  6. Remove meatballs from oven and serve topped with honey-mustard sauce.
