Recipe Ideas with Our Bacon Special

Here's a simple and delicious recipe using bacon: Crispy Bacon Caesar Salad.

Ingredients:

• 150g bacon, cut into small pieces
• 1 romaine lettuce, washed and chopped
• 50g grated Parmesan cheese
• Garlic croutons
• For the Caesar dressing :
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 2 anchovy fillets (optional)
• Juice of half a lemon
• 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• 100 ml extra-virgin olive oil
• Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions :

• Bacon preparation :
• In a frying pan over medium heat, cook the bacon pieces until crisp. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels.
  
  
• To make the Caesar dressing :
• In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, anchovy fillets (if using), lemon juice, Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
• Slowly whisk in the olive oil until you obtain an emulsion. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  
  
• Salad assembly :
• In a large salad bowl, toss the romaine lettuce with some of the Caesar dressing. Make sure the leaves are well coated with the dressing.
• Add the crisp bacon bits, garlic croutons and grated Parmesan. Mix gently.
  
  
• Service:
• Serve the salad immediately after preparation to enjoy the contrast between the crispness of the bacon, the freshness of the lettuce and the creaminess of the dressing.
