VG Gourmet is the brainchild of Emmanuel Castiel and his wife Chantal Bekhor, conceived in 2015 in Montreal!
Emmanuel and Chantal's skills complement each other perfectly to contribute to a winning business partnership. Chantal is the talented Chef de Cuisine who has created all of VG Gourmet's products. Chantal is the reason our products are so incredibly delicious and of such high quality! She developed all the recipes, tested and retested them until they were just right!
As a Foodie, Chantal never compromises when it comes to taste and quality. Chantal always repeats: it's important never to feel you've lowered your expectations when eating vegan food. Yes, vegan food is generally healthier, but it can be just as gourmet as any other. When she develops the recipes you'll find on this site, she uses quality ingredients, tried-and-tested techniques and tools, a variety of exotic spices and creative ways of bringing them together in inventive recipes!
