Our cattle are born and raised 100% in Quebec, without hormones or antibiotics. They spend most of their lives on pasture.

Natural beef is raised on a balanced feed regime and also receives a small portion of locally grown grain to supplement their diet.

Try this Italian meatloaf, you'll be amazed by its great taste!

Ingredients :

  • 900g lean natural ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) breadcrumbs
  • ½ tsp. dried basil
  • ½ tsp. oregano
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning (mix of basil, thyme, oregano, rosemary, sage, garlic powder and cayenne pepper)
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • Salt and pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup market tomato sauce (about 6 ounces)
  • 1 can of market tomato sauce 640 ml.
  • 1 cup of grated cheese of your choice
  • Chopped parsley to garnish.

Preparation:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Lightly grease a mould of about 9x9
  • In a bowl, combine the ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, spices, parmesan cheese and tomato sauce and mix well together.
  • Place the mixture in the mould and form a loaf.
  • Add the 640 ml can of tomato sauce to the raw meatloaf.
  • Put in the oven for about 1h30 to 2h.
  • 10 minutes before the end, top with grated cheese and let it melt until golden.
