Forbidden® rice is appreciated for its delicious roasted hazelnut taste, smooth texture, nutritional content and beautiful dark purple color. This traditional, medium-sized rice is grown in the Black Dragon River region in the following subarctic provinces of northeast China, and is a natural source of antioxidants (anthocyanins), magnesium, protein and fiber.
