Our 100% grass-fed certified organic cattle are fed organic grass for life. This means that the feed is free of herbicides and pesticides. In the summer the cattle have free access to pasture and in the winter our farmers feed them organic hay that they have grown during the summer. Organic certification does not only cover feed, but also animal welfare. Water, pasture and hay, space and hygiene of the barn, quality of care, general living conditions, transport and even slaughter must meet the high requirements of the certificate.
